International arts companies GaiaNova and OMA International provide an exciting opportunity for you to draw with light on a huge historic canvas. Using the Tagtool; a simple interactive drawing board, see your doodles, words and pictures brought to life on the Multangular Tower in Museum Gardens. Professional artists from across the globe will also be using the tagtools at designated times to produce stunning and inspirational works.

During the run-up to the festival, local artists will be showing schools and community groups in York how to use the tagtool to create colourful and expressive drawings. These will be projected by GaiaNova during the festival and audience members can also join in, and have-a-go.

On 29th, 30th and 31st October GaiaNova, OMA International and Design students from York St John University will be projecting onto buildings in the city centre using a tagtool. To be amongst the first to find out where, follow us on facebook, twitter or ask a steward on the night.

GaiaNova is an arts and events production company, who specialise in realising artistic visions using technology. Their work has taken them all over the world, including work closer to home, with the Royal Festival Hall, the Royal Opera House and the BBC Four World Cinema Awards.

OMA International is an independent arts & entertainment production company founded by two brothers and a brother and a sister. Based in Vienna, Austria, its activities usually concern visual arts, music, and open source technology. Strongly rooted in live performance, OMA aims to bring off-mainstream productions of high quality to both young and adult audiences - on stage, over the internet, and in public spaces.
